BD is looking for a highly talented Product Security Test Technician with a passion for delivering network IT solutions supporting the patient care continuum. You are self-motivated, innovative and confident in developing differentiating solutions. You are a strong team member and collaborate effectively with your project team to achieve high quality products within the scheduled work. Be the Product Security Test Technician. Define Software Test strategies to perform risk analysis of third party security patches. Apply your IT networking skills to create and maintain various Microsoft Operating System images for use on BD Products. Develop test protocols to validate and document security patches for various in-vitro diagnostic medical instruments. Support Microsoft Servers and virtual server environments running VMWare and Hyper-V. Develop test protocols and reports to verify deployment of automated security scripts. Project tracking and reporting for patch management deliverables to Management team. Be Qualified. BS degree in Computer Science, Information System Engineering, Telecommunications or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. Minimum of 1 year industry experience with strengths across Security Testing, Windows OS and 3rd party patch management and supporting servers and networks for Microsoft server operating systems. Experience with and proficiency in: Various OS installation. Ability to learn, introduce and improve new and existing test practice and process. OS media creation. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer or similar – SCM, Nessus. Operating System auto deployment technologies such as MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit), Acronis, Ghost or similar. Simple task automation – schedule, scripts. Analytic mind to find root cause of issues. Stay current with system information, changes and updates. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Good to have. Experience with the following is an advantage Effectiveness of communicating technical information within or across the team. Experience with complete software product development life cycle from concept to final release is plus. Knowledge or experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development is expected. Virtual machine (VMWare or Hyper-V) setup and deployment. Software application test environments and software tools. Product Security best practices including network security, virus protection and data encryption. MS SQL deployment and configuration, including rollback strategies. Azure Cloud deployment experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently in solving problems. Good experience in preparing test protocols and test cases documentation. Powershell experience on deployments. Automated patch deployment such as WSUS or SCCM. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Stay current with system information, changes and updates. Familiarity working in a regulated industry (E.g., EU-MDR, IVDR, US-FDA)a plus. Willingness to learn and explore. The BD Difference.
