Member Service Officer Location: Cork City Centre. Salary: 24-28k depending on experience (12 month contract. Description: Excellent company based in Cork City centre are looking for a Member Support Officer to provide quality phone and some front-facing support to members and customers. Responsibilities: Provide members with a courteous, pleasant and professional service. This can be via the phone, face to face interaction, through our website / email or by providing back office support. Back Office support can include, but is not limited to, the management and input of payroll, direct debit payment management and applications. Front Line/Call Centre support can include, but is not limited to, the processing of applications, assisting members with their account management via the phone, via email or the web or via face to face interaction. Ensure your participation in training to ensure a knowledge of all products and services. Operate always within the compliance framework, ensuring compliance with all legislation. All staff members are required to work within the parameters of our policies and procedures while ensuring that your work is carried out in compliance with all legislation and regulatory direction as required. Above all, to ensure you undertake your work in a manner that is friendly, flexible and informal, while always keeping the members interest at heart. Undertake such other reasonable and lawful duties as may be directed from time to time by any of your line managers or the management team. Person Specification: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and confidence to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work under own initiative with minimal direction. Ability to work to deadlines and targets, can prioritise tasks under pressure. Willingness to take on new tasks and projects. Be flexible within the workplace to facilitate job/office rotation as may be required from time to time, to ensure efficient operation. Have a level of computer skills, such that, you will be comfortable with our systems, as required to carry out your daily work and be able to manage your own work station. Be willing to participate in performance management process, including undertaking all necessary upskilling/improvements and courses as may be identified on an ongoing basis, and as part of the formal review process.
