A leading international Freight and Logistics provider in Co Clare is now seeking to hire an experienced person in an Air Freight Role. It also represents an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a recognised leading international supply chain and freight management provider. Your tasks and responsibilities. Day to day operations in busy office environment to include dealing with customers/customs clearance/invoicing/creditors/& other reports and administration duties. Delivery and collection scheduling and dealing with carriers/hauliers/subcontractors and third parties. Liaise with overseas partners to ensure the department is proactive in providing a quality operational performance as well as foster and develop good relations with both existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth. Deal with all customer phone sales and/or customer queries. Establish a good working relationship with the air freight department and its customers. Ensure that all tariffs are kept up to date on the system. Delivering excellence in quality and customer service every time. Respond to all queries in a timely manner with accurate and complete information. Your skills and experience. Preferable to have excellent multi modal Freight & Logisticsunderstanding. Experience in a similar position in the past and distribution expertise. Experienced in updating the tariffs. Used to work Maintaining and/or implementing good working practices & procedures to ensure that the department run efficiently and with professionalism. Keen awareness to the cost of quality to an organisation. Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in a correct manner. Strong written communication skills are crucial. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook. Hazardous Goods Training. Terms: Full time permanent. Package: €35000-€38000.
