FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting a qualified Electrician for a permanent role based in Dublin North. Role Details. Working Hours: 8.30am-5pm. Working Days: Monday - Friday. Permanent role. 22 Days Holidays. Duties. Design and install electrical systems incorporating all types of electrical materials, ensuring that all installations meet current regulations. Ensure that all buildings are tested to the required standards, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification. Provide certification of units. As applicable assume responsibility as the qualified supervisor and therefore oversee all testing requirements for the Hire Centre. Conduct fault finding and undertake rectifications of existing systems both on and off site. Be thorough in the separation and segregation of waste to meet environmental requirements. Maintain tools and equipment in order to maximise their use and prolonged life. Assist in the movement of buildings in and out of the yard and report any damages to buildings. Assist where required in the general fitting out, refurbishment and ongoing maintenance of buildings both on and off site. Undertake the installation/dismantling of all buildings as part of a site team. Provide support/advice to our purchasing and operations teams in all matters relating to the procurement of electrical materials. Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site. Establish good working relationships with the network of sub-contractors employed by the company. Maintenance of records as required by the company. Develop sound customer relationships through effective communication to provide excellent levels of customer service. Work effectively as part of a team with all internal customers to ensure timescales for completing work are achieved and quality standards reached. Recommend as applicable, changes to systems and practices to achieve increased efficiency. Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH. Ensure any direct working areas and the hire centre is maintained to a safe and orderly standard. Ensure already used fittings and materials are utilised as a priority without compromising quality. Ensure that all laid down Quality systems e.g. ISO 9001 are adhered to. Achieve objectives/targets relevant to role. Individual responsibility for ensuring workmanship quality adheres to technical specifications in place and divisional standards. Possess the self-motivation and drive to improve the company processes and procedures in all electrical related matters. Assist with the development of apprentices in accordance with the aspirations of the company. Ensure that timesheets and service requests are fully and accurately completed in a timely manner, as stipulated by management. In addition to the above employees are required to carry out any reasonable request to perform other duties as may be required. Requirements. Qualified Electrician (FETAC Level 6.
