Architectural Technicians. In this role you will be assisting in the preparation of drawings for construction projects to refurbish existing buildings & some new buildings. You will: - Develop design concepts from initial concept to a more complete design. - Prepare planning applications & assist in the preparation of drawing packages for submission for planning approval. - Detailed Design: following agreement on the developed design, produce full tender drawings including technical specifications. The detailed design will have to incorporate any changes required for planning permission. Liaise closely with colleagues, such as the structural engineering; assist with tenders alongside the project team. - During construction you will assist in inspection of the building work, approve fabrication drawings & revise details as necessary to ensure everything is in line with the contract. You will have a minimum of 6-years' experience. Experience & Qualifications: - You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD &/or Microstation including 3D modelling & Photoshop; Microsoft Word, Excel, Building Regulations, H&S, disability, accessibility & planning laws.
