Would You Like to Play a Key Role in Finance for the World's 2nd Largest Food and Beverages Company? We are looking for an intern to join our Procurement team in Cork, on a 6-month intern contract. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. Do you have a talent for negotiation and building strong relationships? If so we could take your talents to a whole new level. Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities. Complete cross regional review of procurement world class data identify opportunities for improvement where appropriate. Review vendor payment issues cross functionally including blocked invoices and delayed payments. Identify issues and propose plan for rectification. Support procurement PMO on year end pricing process. Work with procurement manager on audit readiness plan to ensure mitigation of risks and adherence to controls. Identify SAP tools and reporting features to increase procurement system use for greater efficiency. Analyse historic data and potential market influences to identify opportunities for productivity. Work with buyers on resolution of vendor issues, identify "fix it forever" opportunities for issues. Work with supply chain on pricing, MOQ and lead time queries coordinating communication with central procurement where appropriate. Essential Criteria. You must be currently studying a third level degree in Supply Chain /Business or equivalent, with work placement as part of the requirement. Strong Microsoft excel skills. High attention to detail and analytical skills. Drive to solve problems and fulfil objectives. Ability to handle competing priorities and influence others to meet requirements.
