SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a full-time Business Development Executive for our Client based in West Dublin. Our Client is a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the parcel delivery sector. This role is a permanent position for a sales professional with a proven track record in the Parcel delivery business that requires flexibility as to where and how you should work, mainly based in Dublin and South East Ireland. There are also opportunities within the company for further career progression. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure monthly sales targets are met through new customer acquisition; • Use of CRM system (Zoho) for pipeline management, and account management; • Leads sourcing through own cold calling, own contacts and internal lead generation tools (full support is provided by the company for lead generation); • Preparation of written quotes or oral presentation to decision makers at several levels, with particular focus within SME sector; • Contiuous competitor analysis to enhance the opportunity of onboarding new customers; • Working closely and fully understanding of needs within all business entities, such as customer service, operations, finance; • Maintaining customer relationships to assist customer retention; • Reports actioned as required, and always on time; • Working closely with other members of Sales team and Head of Sales. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales related role, ideally in Parcel delivery; • Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team; • Knowledge and use of CRM systems; • A strong capability in building long standing customer relationships; • Innovative thinking in approaching sales opportunities; • Highly effective organisational, time-management and closing skills; • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. WORKING HOURS: Normal office hours but flexibility required to meet customer demands. PACKAGE: Salary €40,000-€45,000 + commission (vehicle included. OTE €55,000-€65,000 per annum.
