Our client is a global leader and highly regarded business within the pharmaceutical sector based out of Dublin. They are hugely progressive and fast growing in an exciting sector in the Irish market and are looking for a strong FP&A Manager / Finance Manager to join their business on a permanent basis to support their ongoing growth and development. The Role. This FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner role will be sitting in the corporate global headquarters based in central Dublin, reporting to the director of FP&A, with the primary focus of providing financial insight and decision support across the business functions. There a strong leaning on planning, forecasting and business partnering within the role and this would suit a commercially minded and progressive individual. This position requires heavy collaboration and strong communication skills as it will be a key link between Supply Operations and business unit finance and commercial leaders. This exciting FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner role will be responsible specifically for: Develop and maintain trusted relationship with business partners, while providing thoughtful and candid insights into key business matters. Fostering strong interpersonal relationships and collaborating in the corporate environment. Working cross-functionally to achieve the best outcomes for the business. Working directly with President, Supply Operations, Quality and other business partners to provide various forms of financial analysis in support of business decision-making. Interpreting financial transactions and events to support economic or business decisions. Ensuring alignment of financial results, forecasts, and cost allocation. Partnering with business to assess operational and financial effectiveness of departmental spending and various project investments. Provide analysis and decision support for initiatives as they arise. Responsible for the development of the monthly, annual and ad hoc financial planning and forecasting activities for departmental budgets and projects. Responsible for local Cash Flow Forecasting and Global Intercompany Cash Flow Forecasting. The Person. In order to be considered for this progressive FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in business partnering, forecasting and adding commercial value ideally from within a blue-chip multinational environment. Specific requirements for the successful candidate would include: You will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have approx. 5-7 years' specific experience post qualification. You would ideally have a depth of experience from within the pharmaceutical, medical devices or FMCG sector. You will have a strong background in Financial Business Partnering supporting key stakeholders cross functionally or cross regionally within a multinational environment. Experience in financial reporting and forecasting and in particular sound working knowledge of US GAAP. Advance working knowledge of SAP and/or JD Edwards, or one of the other mainstream ERP systems. You will have excellent communications skills and evidence of co-ordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve results.
