Overview. As Area Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of a number of stores in the company’s impressive and expanding portfolio. You will liaise will all management teams and ensure the highest standards are offered in store along with developing staff and increasing sales. Duties. You will be fully Profit and Loss accountable for all the stores in your region along with effectively communicating and carrying out all company standards and procedures. Your remit will be to ensure the highest standards are always adhered to while looking for areas of the stores to develop in order to help improve turnover. You will have full autonomy over all stores in ensuring they are operating profitably and are always one step ahead of the competition. Coaching your management team to enable them to learn, grow & produce. Ensure the management team are following SOP's. Full H.A.C.C.P. compliance. Maximising sales and profitability. Providing your team with a stimulating and supportive environment. Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service. Driving team performance. Controlling the training and development of your staff. Setting budgets & ensuring the stores operate within the same. Leading by example , getting ones hands dirty & showing the team how it is done. Ideal Candidate. If you are a driven and motivated Manager with previous multi-site experience in the grocery industry then this could be the most exciting challenge you ever take. You will be an excellent people manager with the ability to develop and get the best out of teams, and you will have the relevant experience required to operate at the highest commercial level in grocery retail. Requirements: 3 years multi-site management experience in either the grocery industry. Proven track record of growing turnover and developing teams. Full working knowledge of all KPI's. Ability to hit all required targets and KPI's. In-depth knowledge of fresh food. Worked in a large national grocery retailer at senior management level. How to Apply.
