This is an amazing opportunity to develop your clinical skills and make a real difference on an international volunteering placement. VSO Ireland are looking for experienced nurses and midwives to share their skills and help save lives in some of the world’s poorest communities. There are currently a number of opportunities available in various locations in Uganda. Roles include: Volunteer Neonatal Nurse. Volunteer Nurse Midwife Mentor/ Clinical Facilitator. Volunteer Sexual Reproductive Health Nurse. Applicants should be: Qualified nursing professional specialized in one of the above areas, with at least 3 years’ experience. Fully accredited by the relevant professional body. Be able to commit fully for the duration of the role. Location: Napak District andMoroto,Uganda. Duration of role: 12 months. All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country. The cost of accommodation is fully covered for the duration of the stay.
