HEAD CHEF DAY TIME CAFÉ DUBLIN 5. Our client runs a great day time operation in Dublin 5 area and is seeking a Head Chef to oversee the small and compact Kitchen. Style of Food here is very much a mix of light breakfast, gourmet sandwiches, tantalizing salads and amazing deserts. They also produce their own breads and scones that are regarded by many as simply amazing. This operation operates 5 days over 7 and is only open day times so giving you a greet balance of work life. We are now recruiting for an experienced Head Chef that is focused on Fresh, Creative and Artisan Cuisine. If you Have pastry or bread making knowledge it’s preferred but not essential. Are you working or have worked in a similar style Café or Restaurant? Have you previous exposure to fresh creative funky food? (This is not Turkey & Ham. Do you have a creative streak always testing and trying new recipes? Can you work with the owner’s and menu ideas that are currently a success? Are you a hands on Chef as well as Kitchen Manager? Have you experience in Costings, Portion Control, Wastage, HACCP etc? Do you want to work in a happy environment with GREAT FOOD?
