HEAD CHEF 4* CORK CITY. Renowned Hotel in Cork City is seeking to recruit a Head Chef. This is a busy hotel in F&B and will command an excellent Kitchen Manager to execute the food to perfection. This position required a ‘foodie’ Head Chef that is creative, funky and just ahead of the rest! This is a ‘fresh’ product and attracts various type customers. The client is seeking a Head Chef that has demonstrated loyalty in previous employments is a hands on Kitchen Manager and has a positive attitude. Prerequisites for this position include: Previous Head Chef experience in a 3* or 4* Hotel Operation or Large Volume with Brasserie/Gastro Pub/Restaurant/Banqueting. Must have a mix of Classical, Fusion & Banqueting Menu Experience. Must have strong Kitchen Management to include rota, wage % and reporting. Strong on Costings, Portion Control & Purchasing. Fully au fait with HACCP & Food Safety Regulations. A chef that can bring new ideas, new dishes, new menus, specials to the property. A chef dedicated to producing fresh food with great taste and funky presentation. A problem solver and can think ‘outside the box’ Strives for perfection while executing excellent cuisine.
