Our client, a company in Galway is currently looking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer for their site. Responsibilities. Develop and maintain module requirements. Develop and maintain low level / module design specification. Develop and maintain module test specification. Develop source code in accordance with coding guidelines and MISRA standard. Responsible for organising formal code and document reviews of own work product. Responsible for module testing and generation of the module test report. Responsible for static code analysis e.g. module Linting, Klocwork, QAC or Polyspace. Regularly maintaining the work products in CM database. Ensuring the work is done in a way which satisfies the company QA requirements and company software quality processes e.g. ASPICE, ISO15504. Generate PRs and CRs for any problems found. Responsible for implementing fixes and changes required by PRs and CRs. Participating in peer review and formal code reviews. Participating in design reviews. Participating in project and team meetings as requested. Report on software development activities as requested to the software team leader and hierarchical manager. Assist software team leader with tasks. Qualifications. Education/Training. Graduate in Electronic, Computer or Software Engineering. Post graduate qualification desirable. Expert knowledge in Microcontrollers and Peripherals. Expert knowledge in C programming. Good knowledge of embedded software system design concepts. Basic understanding of Electronics / Hardware Design. Automotive industry software applications knowledge. Professional Experience. 5+ years working with embedded software. Embedded Software experience; assembly, C for 8/16/32 bit micro controllers. Experience of AUTOSAR framework is required. Familiar with software development models/standards CMMI, ISO15504 etc. Model based design, UML modelling experience. Experience with software version control and change control tools.
