Do you want to work with a team who are delivering an innovative software solution within the healthcare industry? The Technical Writer develops curriculum and instructional material for customer training courses on the application. You will demonstrate and utilise effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. You should be proficient in using multimedia technology and authoring tools for course material. You will acts as a liaison between various business functions in determining needs of the course and appropriate method of delivery. Sounds like what I’m looking for! What would my day-to-day look like? Designs and produces knowledge and learning materials in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation and multimedia to support teaching, learning, and information needs across the organisation. Continually re-evaluate the specific knowledge needs of users and their business processes. Excellent stakeholder management and excels when working as part of a team. Organise, create and provide access to diverse digital information. Specify the technology requirements for creating, capturing, organising, accessing and using knowledge assets and develop taxonomies for tagging, managing and retrieving content. Manage the overall design, layout and operation of SharePoint, Confluence, and other knowledge repositories as required. Work with subject matter experts to derive technical content and procure sign off on outputs. Own the structuring, writing, and archiving of bodies of knowledge as required. Create training content in support of knowledge management objectives. Engage in other knowledge or content related activities as defined by your manager. Sounds perfect! So what do I need? SharePoint Experience. Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a similar related subject. Minimum of three years of instructional design and / or technical writing experience. Experience with Software Curriculum Development, Experiential learning, and Learning Theory. Comfortable with all types of technology with a particular technical competence in knowledge repositories and systems. Project management skills – ability to take responsibility for entire deliverables in area of impact within a phase, project or engagement.
