Senior Learning Specialist. This role will be responsible for the implementation of an L&D strategy and plan to meet development needs across the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Implementation of (in consultation with key stakeholders) the Learning and Development Strategy. Communication of Learning and Development Strategy and impact including publication of activities (e.g. annual learning and development calendar. Manage team of Learning Specialists. Engage and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and People Managers across the business in all areas of training and development. Accountable for the quality and implementation of all elements of Learning and Development. Responsible for defining, developing and reporting L&D Key Performance Indicators and metrics. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure programmes are meeting overall business needs. Budget control ensuring a Return on Capital Invested. Conduct an annual training needs analysis. Assist with facilitation of group/team/individual development sessions as required. Delivery of training. Work with external partners, suppliers and providers and internal functions to support the execution of all solutions and initiatives and evaluate their efficiency and effectiveness against KPIs. Maintain accurate and comprehensive training records. Assist with other L&D matters and on-going projects as required. Support the continuous improvement of training and development programmes by keeping abreast of best practices and new trends and developments in the area of Training and Talent Management. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge Honours degree in a business, HR or related discipline. Ideally a coaching accreditation or willingness to undertake coaching qualification. Understanding of digital learning options. Knowledge and proficiency with training task analysis and development and implementation of training effectiveness assessments. Familiarity with learning management systems (Success Factors preferably. IITD member/Training qualification/CIPD membership (preferred. Experience. Minimum of 5 years in a dedicated L&D role with experience developing and delivering strategy. Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Proven skills in programme facilitation and design (both classroom and e-learning) essential. Experience delivering change management projects (e.g. implementing LMS, developing and delivering strategic initiatives. Experience of e-learning/digital learning environment. Skills. Excellent presentation skills. Proven skills as a learning business partner. Experience and track record in working in a fast-paced and complex working environment managing multiple priorities and competing demands. Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written. Strong influencer. Strong programme management experience. Strong commercial and business experience.
