Our Client, a well established Logistics and Supply Chain Provider, now require a Customer Service Executive for their office based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills combined with freight forwarding experience. Ideally you will have experience in both Air & Ocean Freight however candidates with strong experience in either area will be considered. Description of Role: To deliver a 1st class level of customer service to our clients, professionally and efficiently at all times and in accordance with documented procedures. To liaise with other key parties including third party suppliers and other offices around the world. To continuously innovate and look for new ways to improve the service we provide to our customers and increase business efficiency. To liaise closely with the commercial client owners to ensure all parties are aligned regarding the service delivery expected and delivered. Key skills for the role: Technical skills: Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook. Internal business systems (e.g. FACT. Ability to update and view data within tracking and control systems (to include but not limited to: MODS, LOG*IT, M-Power, Track*it, FACT, DMS, ILSE. Soft skills: A good telephone manner. Strong Customer Service mindset and approach. Minimum Requirements: Min 2 years’ previous experience in Irish air and ocean imp/exp freight forwarding. Strong commercial awareness. Excellent problem solving, planning & organising skills. Excellent communication/telephone skills. Strong Customer Service & Administrative skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word. Ability to work on own initiative. Terms: Full Time, Permanent. Package: €36,000 plus additional company benefits.
