Cassidy Motors, main dealers for Suzuki and SsangYong are recruiting for a service manager at Charlestown, Co Mayo. The role involves: 1. Manage a team of technicians to ensure a productive workshop whilst maintaining quality workmanship at all times. 2. Schedule work to get the best productivity of the workshop. 3. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively explain works being carried out, costs involved and the invoicing of works. 4. Liaise with the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of all areas of the business. 5. Promote the service department with offers and promotions. 6. Knowledge of the main dealer best practices and procedures and also Implement the manufacturer’s warranty policies and procedures. 7. Quality control of vehicles prior to delivery to customer. 8. Knowledge of Autoview would be an advantage. Requirements for the candidate: 1. Must have a mechanical background, either served time as a mechanic or worked in a position similar to this in the past. 2. Should be well presented with excellent communication and written skills. 3. Must be fluent in English, both written and oral. 4. Be a good team leader with the ability to time manage yourself and the rest of the technician team. 5. Have strong organisational skills and pride yourself on attention to detail. 6. Possess excellent computer skills. 7. Flexibility to move between branches when necessary.
