Independent Solutions is a partner to leading clients in the pharma, biotechnology, medical sectors in Ireland and supports those clients achieve various results in a variety of roles. We have a large team supporting our clients onsite and offsite and this role will be based onsite in their facility. Our Client is seeking a Supply Chain Planner. Duration of Role: This is a long-term contract role as part of Independent Solutions Service Level Agreement with this client. Estimated duration is 12-24 months. Job Duties: This job specification outlines the general responsibilities associated with the role of Sr. Associate Production Planner. This person is responsible for translating the master production schedule into a detailed schedule, ensuring on time availability of product, whilst taking known constraints and planning parameters into account. Other Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for portfolio of commercial products, understanding all constraints and dependencies that impact planning activities. • Participate in the monthly planning cycle for all products and complete the necessary activities, some of which include: o Reviewing and understanding product demand. o Ensuring the master production schedule and resultant production plan is reflected on SAP and Rapid Response (RR. o Balancing product supply in RR system given known constraints, confirming system orders comply with target safety stock and target material availability dates. o Responsible for short term capacity planning. • Review planning parameters and targets and recommend improvements to Sr. Management for approval. • Manage and monitor SAP / RR transactions to support production plan, planning cycle and procurement activities. • Inventory management of assigned products. • Work closely with NPI (New Product Introduction) team to ensure seamless transition of products to commercial planning and production. • Monitor and track KPIs. • Extract, retrieve and compile data relevant for periodic reporting needs. • Provide data analysis for dashboards for given products. • Identify areas for continuous improvement of planning processes. • Change/NC/CAPA owner. • Subject Matter Expert for assigned tasks. • Optional: o SAP Super User. • Responsibilities include training, SAP continuous improvement and Global Forum participation. Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s Degree or APICS certification. • Min 5 years experience in an industrial environment. • Working knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes. • Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis. • Team player, self-starter, independent worker who take on ownership in driving tasks/projects to completion. • Readily adapts to and manages change Systems : • SAP, Rapid Response, EDMQ, CCMS, QMTS.
