The Health Insurance Authority (“the Authority”) is an independent regulator for the private health insurance market in Ireland, established on 1 February, 2001 under The Health Insurance Act, 1994, as amended.  It has a central and independent role to play in the operation of Ireland’s private health insurance market.  JOB TITLE. Clerical Officer Corporate Affairs. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Authority wishes to recruit a Clerical Officer to our Corporate Affairs Department at the Clerical Officer grade.   The duties will include the following: •Receptionist duties; •General office administration; •Supporting the Authority’s consumer information function; and. •Other duties that may be assigned in accordance with the needs of the Authority. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent or have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher or have appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and expertise.
